We are devoted to delivering care that is always within your reach
DevotedDOc was created to make physician-led telehealth care accessible, structured, and accountable. Founded by frontline emergency physicians, our platform combines real clinical experience with disciplined systems designed to protect patient safety. Through secure virtual visits, patients connect directly with licensed doctors who follow clear standards for evaluation, documentation, and follow-up.
Addiction treatment is at the heart of our work. Also, we provide evidence-based care for opioid use disorder, including Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) when clinically appropriate. Every visit includes identity verification, thoughtful risk assessment, medication safety review, and a clear treatment plan. Our focus is long-term stability, not quick prescriptions.
As we grow nationally, we continue to strengthen our care model with standardized nursing oversight, clinical quality review, and structured escalation pathways. Our leadership team brings expertise in emergency medicine, addiction medicine, toxicology, and healthcare operations — ensuring that care remains consistent, compliant, and measurable at scale.
At DevotedDOc, technology supports the process — but physicians lead the care. Every patient leaves with a defined plan, accountable follow-up, and a clear path forward.
Medical Leadership & Governance
DevotedDOc’s clinical model is overseen by board-certified physicians who guide governance, documentation standards, prescribing safeguards, and quality review across all care pathways.

Our Story
DevotedDOc was founded by Dr. Matthew Berrios, an emergency physician and clinical informatics leader who saw firsthand the consequences of fragmented addiction care. In emergency departments, patients with opioid use disorder often cycled through crisis and discharge without structured follow-up or long-term accountability.
He believed telehealth could do better.
Instead of replicating fast-prescription models, Dr. Berrios built a physician-led system grounded in disciplined risk assessment, standardized workflows, and regulated prescribing safeguards. DevotedDOc was designed to deliver virtual care that is structured, accountable, and clinically defensible.
Today, he remains actively involved in patient care and protocol development, ensuring leadership stays directly connected to real-world clinical practice.
Our Clinical Mission
Our mission is to deliver structured, accountable, and evidence-based telehealth care — including addiction treatment and medically supervised weight loss — through a model that prioritizes patient safety, measurable outcomes, and durable recovery. This care model supports patients across multiple states, including Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, and Georgia.
Every clinical encounter is designed around:
Patients leave each visit with a clear treatment plan and accountable next steps. Our goal is not short-term prescriptions, but long-term stability.
Our Commitment to Compliance & Defensible Care
Telehealth addiction treatment operates within a highly regulated clinical environment. DevotedDOc’s model is intentionally designed to meet that standard.
We prioritize:
-
Physician oversight
-
Clear diagnostic rationale
-
Medication safety safeguards
-
Standardized escalation pathways
-
Consistent follow-up
-
Governance-level clinical review
Every workflow is structured to remain auditable and defensible — protecting both patients and providers while supporting safe, professional, and scalable growth.
Our Impact Nationwide
Strengthening Clinical Standards in Virtual Care
DevotedDOc delivers evidence-based telehealth care grounded in disciplined evaluation, medication safety review, structured documentation, and defined follow-up expectations. By embedding transparent treatment rationale and longitudinal accountability into every encounter, we reduce preventable risk and support durable stability for patients managing opioid use disorder and other care needs.
Embedding Governance Into Care Delivery
Our clinical model is governance-forward and infrastructure-driven. Standardized workflows, clearly defined documentation standards, and structured escalation pathways ensure that quality and compliance are built into the system itself — not dependent on individual providers alone — enabling safe, defensible, and scalable telehealth growth.
Expanding Access for Underserved and Justice-Involved Populations
Through partnerships with public agencies, correctional systems, and mission-aligned organizations, DevotedDOC strengthens continuity of care for justice-involved and underserved populations. Technology-enabled delivery and structured partner programs help reduce barriers to treatment and support stable, longitudinal recovery pathways nationwide.
